They are a surface decoration so they can be used on walls in any room of your home. If the colour, texture, weight and pattern work within your desired scheme there should be little to stop you. They are hard wearing and because most rooms in the home are not subject to steam and moisture, black mould and discolouration will not be your enemy.

Check with your contractor that your walls can support the weight of the tiles before you get going.
