If you are about to refresh your bedroom decor please take a moment to read this. For me, there is nothing like designing the Main Bedroom. It is a personal place to retreat to, not for houseguests but for you, a personal sanctuary. It is said the star of the show is the bed - the largest item in the room and we often spend the most money on it. The best supportive act though and the real star of the show is the humble multi-purpose nightstand - traditionally known as the bedside table.

If this beautiful side/bedside table can evoke these images for you when you enter the room then its magic has begun. In design, we have to find the balance between functionality and aesthetics and this may lean one way but can we resist?
